What Is Somatic Coaching?

Somatics comes from the Greek word soma, which means the wholeness of a living organism. It refers to the body not just as a physical structure, but as a vessel of experience, memory, emotion, and aliveness.

Somatic coaching is a body-based approach to healing and transformation. It works with your nervous system, your felt sense, and the parts of you that words alone can’t always reach.

Where traditional coaching often focuses on thought patterns and goal-setting, somatic coaching goes deeper: into your breath, your posture, your emotional patterns, your capacity to feel safe in your body.

It’s not therapy. But it is deeply therapeutic. It doesn’t diagnose or fix. It listens... gently and honestly. Because your body holds your story and it deserves to be heard. It wants to be heard.

Why I Practice This Work

I didn’t grow up with safety. I grew up with silence, pressure, and performance.

For a long time, I didn’t know how to feel. I only knew how to function.

Somatics changed that.

It helped me to stop running from my body, and to start listening to it.
It helped me show up for my children not with perfection, but with presence.
It gave me access to calm, clarity, and self-trust I never thought I could have.

That’s why I offer this work. Because I’ve lived what it’s like to feel lost, numb, overwhelmed. And I know what it’s like to come back to soften, strengthen, and to heal.

You don’t have to brace against life. You can move with it.

You can become unshakable... Not because nothing affects you, but because you’ve built the capacity to return to yourself over and over again.
